Emerald Island

The beautiful gated community of Emerald Island Resort, surrounded by lush Florida vegetation, is probably the closest upmarket full-facility resort to the Disney area. The winding, palm-lined road that leads to the impressive colonnaded entry to the resort gives a taste of what is inside. Emerald Island Resort is located less than four miles from Disney, off Highway 192 making it one of the closest rental home communities to Disney. Emerald Island Resort is just a 3 mile drive from the World Drive entrance to Walt Disney World.
Emerald Island, surrounded by a wildlife conservation area, consists of over 300 acres, including a large shady area of natural woodland right in the middle of the community. Only a few miles from Walt Disney World and a short walk or drive to shopping and dining, this resort serves as a haven from the outside world, yet it is central to everything that Central Florida can offer.

The large clubhouse and luxurious heated swimming pool are the center of activity for the community. Free use of sun loungers and a large deck area make it a perfect spot for a days sunbathing. The clubhouse has something for everyone including a spa with hot tub, sauna and steam room, a meeting room for informal gatherings, and a computer for guest access to the internet. Staff are on hand to assist with dinner reservations, attraction tickets or transportation
Vacation townhouses are quickly becoming the hottest trend in home-away-from-home travel luxuries. They offer every convenience of a hotel room (towels, cleaning service, cable TV, clubhouse amenities) plus all the benefits of your own home, including state of the art kitchen appliances, full dinnerware and glassware sets, cookware, and your own personal laundry room.
